What is the downtime with Natural Facial Filler?
There’s no patient downtime with Natural Facial Filler, so you can return to work or home immediately after the procedure.  If you are harvesting the fat cells during LipoSculpture, you will have the recovery associated with the Body-Jet Liposuction procedure. A slight amout of facial swelling and bruising may be experienced but will resolve shortly and may be covered with make-up.  We recommend Arnica Forte capsules prior to the procedure and ice packs after the injection to help minimize any swelling or bruising.  Arnica Forte is available in our practice.

The natural fat will give you a softer, more natural looking appearance.  With temporary hyaluronic acid fillers and collagen injections, patients must return frequently for new treatments to maintain results, typically as often as every six to nine months.  With Natural Facial Filler, much of the transferred fat will remain, eliminating the need for frequent maintenance treatments.  However, with the use of Sculptra Aesthetic (Poly-L-Lactic Acid) patients results typically last for two to three years.  One needs to give true consideration, evaluating the pros and cons, of permanent facial fillers.  During your consultation, all of these options will be discussed.
